How do you tax remittances? Most of it done within families. You'd be hard pressed to find a way to manage that. FGS can't even control a couple cities, no way will they ever manage to tax discreet income.

Nope considering they’re track record. They’re gonna let this government collapse. And prop up AS. They’re known for doing stuff like this. Time will tell. They’re not gonna fund Amisom. Nor will US or EU. Turkey doesn’t tend to back the losing side

AS cannot do whatever it wants. They might go mooryaan mode. But its gonna be conquering neighbouring cities. But they can’t blow up ships. Or behave like Houthis. Turkey wont let this government collapse. If they can’t drill their oil. Or launch their missiles peacefully. Since they have invested tens of billions. If the alternative option is worser than FGS. This government will continue

This government shouldve been dismantled in 2006 it doesnt matter who it got replaced by or what it was about. Id rather natural politics dictated by Somalis for somalis than it being played with foreign powers. Today this government is purely driven by other powers.
somalia can prosper. All regions can prosper. Al shabaab can seize to exist if only the west and arabian countries get their hands off the land. Unfortunately we have been cursed with resources and an extremely strategic location being the last country of the red sea and being the gateway to Asia.
