My recovery date is November 29, 2017. I first started looking for help when I could not handle the way I was living anymore. I wasn’t very happy with what I was doing. I knew I had a problem.

It took several months of reaching out for help before I finally stuck to something. I first got clean when I went to treatment for two months. I went back to school after about a year and have been in school ever since. School has given me the opportunity to help other people that are my age that think they might have a problem. That has been the most rewarding part of my life recently.

Let me briefly make the case for why you shouldn't be happy and positive. You see, if you are happy without justification (i.e. accomplishments), you will have no incentive to actually get anything done in life. "Be happy" and "look on the bright side" are arguably the worst pieces of advice given to people by people who mean well. When you look on the bright side, it does nothing to impact the dark side and you just wasted your time and gave yourself false hope. My friends, let's not fall for this devious plot. It's purpose is to mislead you and make you put your guard down. Be vigilant. Don't rest until you achieve all that you plan to achieve.

Wow I just got off of work, so I would like to apologize for responding late.

I am so moved right now with how positive everyone is, I am in my car just completely taking back smiling from ear to ear as cars pass by thinking I just got promoted or a raise. Only if they knew it's something far greater than material gain, it's a lifestyle. I normally quote everyone one and respond with a message of positivity but right now I just want a group hug.


It's not going to be easy and I want you'll to know it's ok to mess up, but u have to remember that it's a journey and not something that happens over night. Always keep in mind that ur ultimate goal is to contribute posts in a positive matter, to promote peace and dialogue. I appreciate this movement, I wanna thank each and every one of u
