No, the RSF is made up of Baggara “Arabs” and they vary in appearance, some look indistinguishable from the riverain Sudanese, and others look similar to the natives of Darfur (no doubt through centuries of intermarriage)

No, the Janjaweed is almost entirely comprised of Baggara Arabs from all over the Sahel. Granted, there is a much smaller number of regional mercenaries from rebel and militia groups as well as mercenaries from as far away as Colombia.
