facts. They were a serious team at first too. They defeated the all white Minneapolis Lakers (later became Los Angeles Lakers) before the NBA had black players and not once but twice. Because of this the first black player in NBA history was a former Globetrotter. Even the legendary Wilt Chamberlain started his career with the Globetrotters. No NBA team made me like basketball it was the Globetrotters
