I used to be an arabist until I went Hajj in summer 2019, and saw regular arabs in their day to day

Wallahi they looked borderline subhuman - I looked into their eyes and I didn't see soul there - almost like they were not sentient beings. Literally Madow tier. and it hit me "These are the people i'm pretending to be?"

Never larping as arab again.
