Yea there is a specific parasite they get from it I think. They have to eat the meat immediately after slaughter otherwise it gets very risky. I think they take certain pills to kill the parasites if they engage in this ‘delicacy’

Never understood eating raw anything, you can literally cook liver for 30-45 seconds, if it's battered before hand.

Pretty sure if their peasant army ever went hungry, they'll just eat the dead raw.
