I can provide some insight as an older gen z/zillenial.

It’s most likely that many have just lost interest in this site. The discussion topics are immature and troll-ish most of the time and it is quite obvious the majority of users are in the 16-23 yr old age group.

Millenials and older gen z’s have simply aged out and have largely moved on. I do lurk every now and then and post on topics that pique my interest but otherwise I don’t come on here as much as I used to.
