Not if you work or get busy with other important stuff.. Sometimes I don't check on my phone for hours. I guess it depends.

I totally agree with you. But going by @Abdisamad's reply, it could very well be other reasons. So i'm interested in seeing other people's view.

As I was saying in the other thread, I would either take it as a strong indication of disinterest or an attempt to not seem desperate or mind games.

instant repliers turn the convo into a chore .... texting should be relaxing activity that also lets you to do other things like watching a show, drawing, or daydreaming etc.... if im expecting quick responses, id rather talk on the phone or meet up

Inspired by @Hodan from HR thread.

I give the same energy they give me. If they reply in 2 days, I will reply in 2 days. If they reply in 3 hours, I will reply in 3 hours.

Based on my own experience, guys who are interested do respond back in a very timely manner. But these are grown, mature men who have busy lives and who don't play mind games. I wouldn't entertain a guy who plays such foolish games. He's a timewaster.
