Reading a book in Somali is like doing math in Somali. There is nothing to gain from itI've asked you before to add "I am mixed-race" disclaimer to your account so that people can see why you are incentivised to respond in certain ways.
That makes no sense. Math is universal, 1+1 is the same in English, Chinese, Spanish and Somali. Language on the other had is distinctly personal, tying someone to a clear identity.Reading a book in Somali is like doing math in Somali. There is nothing to gain from it

How would you write a complex proof in Somali? The language is not vast enough for this. Hence why it is preferable to do in EnglishThat makes no sense. There's no reason for books in the homeland to be written in English unless they're required to.
If the library is designed for children which it looks like it is then Somali books fit, at high school English should be taught. Somali isn't vast but it isn't shallow either, it has many loan words from those we've interacted but also ancient words native to us. I'd prefer our language be preserved in speech and text. English would be good at a business and higher level of education, same with Arabic or Mandarin. How would you write a complex proof in Somali? The language is not vast enough for this. What specifically? The reason people write in English is for accessibility and formality not because the logical symbolism of proofs is too esoteric for most languages lmao. How would you write a complex proof in Somali?
