Is this supposed to be a Somali person. Check out the cuqdad and misinformation.

Someone who claims to be from Somalia, claims that it's not normal to see Somalis with hair under 3C. Ask yourself, as a Somali, how many people in your family/friend circle have hair under 3C. Is it strange to you ? Of course not. Only a foreigner with cuqdad, would say such things.

Now it's 'harmful' to say that Somalis, look like Somalis.

"Majority of YALL"

Note how this person claims to be ethnic Somali, but distances themselves by referring to us as 'yall'.

Why are they fixated on our nose and hair texture

I have an aquiline nose like most Somalis and yes some Somalis do have black type nose it's not an insult to have a big nose

Her mother is reer xamar, idk she's probably just salty about looking more madow and is taking it out on Somalis by lying about how we look.

She reminds me of the other person who joined the forum recently, to spread lies that most Somalis have broad features. And that we cherry pick who we post online.. as if there is a Somali committee who decides which Somalis can post their faces.:mjlol:

They make fun of our cranium and forehead sizes but the moment we mention our other features it's 'ethnic group x from West africa have narrow noses too!! You're not special!!.' LOL

Don't get me started on Central and West Africans and their fixation with posting Sahel Madows, the ones called Baggara Arabs, Fulanis etc. The creepiest of all, the ones who post Tutsi and other Southern Cushitic admixed people, but in reality, have evidence of ethnically cleansing these people (Rwanda genocide).

It's very disturbing.

They mention the most eurasian west africans

Fulani are paternally Moroccan lmao , Tutsis are like 60% from Ethiopia / Northern Kenya

One thing is true, there are Bantus in Mogadishu, and even in other Somali towns/cities you will see a visible presence of Bantus. But no ethnic Somali will ever confuse a Bantu for an ethnic Somali. And contrary to popular belief, there are Somalis who marry and have married Bantus, so some 'Somalis' are not 100% Somali themselves. For example, in Bosaso there are Madhibaans mixed with Bantu, with some of their offspring looking Somali, some mixed etc.

After visiting Somalia and finding out some facts, I have concluded that the ethnic Somali looks exactly like the stereotype you envision, it's not the 'norm' or common to have non-Somali features. Especially if an entire family looks non-Somali.

I said in the other thread they treat us as lifeless mannequins - they don’t see us as humans , but props to pull out of their dusty cabinet whenever it suits them.

Freaks.

Stop trolling :mjlol:
Timo adag is not a curse and it's not rare for Somali to have timo jilicsan. The point of the topic is not to say one set of features are better than another, it's to showcase the ajnabi/mixed or whatever people who love to misrepresent Somalis.

When i go a round and about i see from bini samaale those people with rounder cheeks and more narrower with up set cheekbones and bigger eyes and smaller eyes and blick skin and hindi skin and timo like grass and timo like the comb goes jaq when you try it And of course various nose shapes and sizes. I seen a guy in the masjid you would mistake him for habashi if he did nt have looser hair

However the diversities are up to a certain limit and beyond those is clear that someone is a different ethnic group. I think its near impossible to try and describing those limits through words because two people could have very different ideas on how wide a wide nose is or how adag timo jereer is Because of their preconceptions based on their experience . So if anyone argues a point about phenotype i say find pictures to describe what you mean

So that’s where my bushy hair came fromπŸ€”
it was my leelkase ayeeyo AUN this whole time. It’s bushy hair and takes time to comb but it’s soft and straight in water πŸ’¦ On the upside it doesn’t seem like I’ll suffer hair loss so thank you very much Tanade Darod.
