Are you alright? This What you said yesterdayAre these women afraid of men I would rock any party but I would never dance once I dance that's it lol I look like a fool :/
That's unfortunate. There's nothing haram about mixed weddings. Too bad the Wahhabis got in your head to the point u won't enjoy such an important event with your relatives and friends just cuz some men r there. Very sad.
And besides, leaving ur house everyday u engage in free-mixing. U attend uni don't u? What's the difference between uni and a mixed wedding?
As for being dressed modestly at all times I commend u for that. Keep it up sis.
That's rubbish LETS PARTY WOOO some vodkaBig difference actually. Women beautify themselves for weddings; at times taking full days to prepare. A Uni student will dress quite modestly in comparison. What woman wants Yasiin from the block to see her at her A1 best? That should be reserved for her husband if anyone.
I'm assuming when @Aria mentions 'wedding', she means Somali wedding i.e. dancing, weird mix of youth and old ladies, randomly thrown in 90's RnB tracks, and boys and girls awkwardly staring at each other across the hall while hooyo keeps an eye on them. It's a club-like experience mixed with some weird cultural modesty. Nothing jadeed about despising the whole thing.
If we were more civilised we would set up a marquee in a field, and have everyone dressed formally (Islamic garb or modest dress/suit) with some light music/nasheed playing in the background and some food and entertainment. Taas waa wax lafahmay.
I don't remember saying that ? Must have been drunk then
Yes sis the real father never returned after he found he was going to be a father. The mother is now married and sometimes visits not to see the children but for me to cook em food. I have no choiceWalee wa yaab is that a true story?

I decided to adopt them because they remind me of my ex wife she was 10/10If The kids arent yours why are you taking care of The kids
The children where born out of wedlock yes? Why don't you drop the kids of by your ex wife's family? You're being a cuck brother you're being disillusioned you will regret making this choice instead of living your lifeI decided to adopt them because they remind me of my ex wife she was 10/10

Salaanta ka dib allow me to share my 2cents @anonymous34
I honestly believe that waa laga ficanyahay ruunti even when it's only for dumaarka. The reason i say this is there's always someone taking pics & recording the entire xaflaad so you never know who they might share it with. Gone are the days when dumaarka truly enjoyed such events without feeling uneasy about it. It's one of the few occasions where dumaarka get to enjoy themselves fully so why put obstacles that will hinder them from enjoying themselves.
I had the unfortunate experience where someone played a video recording of a wedding to a house me iyo hooyo were invited to, it was a female only gathering and in it were a couple of sisters that i knew. This were respectable sisters that would never show their hair let alone their body to some random dhurwaa out there sidas darteed iska ilaaliya gabdho. Diinta ka dib the next important thing to a woman is her sharaftayda so don't put yourselves in uncomfortable situations where you've no control over the actions that may follow from such situations. If you give some people the opportunity they will take advantage of it so iis ilaaliya
Enjoy yourselves within the limits that diinteena permits us but be wise and smart about it
