I’m of the opinion, if he has a disease or condition, I’m not carrying on those traits.
In fact, if the father is normal, and I have a defect or condition in-utero I’m aware of, I would not carry that child to term either, so why should a man trump a child of mine?
I’ve worked with disabled kids; I have a soft spot for them, but I’m aware of the reality of them. I’m glad the services exist in enlightened countries to make their lives better, but I’m not cut out to be one those poor old ladies in their 90’s who’re still wheeling their mentally or physically handicapped 60 yr old kid around, anymore than I’m cut out to bring a bedpan to him, turn him so he doesn’t get bedsores, basically be a single mother if we have kids, and frankly a mother to him as well doing all his cares, and having handicap sex. No, I’m good. And no, I’m not evil.

Forget that most men don’t even stay when their wives get chronic diseases or become weak after many years of being together let alone marrying a woman with no legs. Women have needs too and want a man who’s complete physically/mentally, healthy and strong.
