Anyone else tired of people thinking everything we do is for men? The way we dress? How we take care of our bodies Etc even some women feel this way.
Except if we go to school then of course men feel intimidated! Ugh can we live!

Alhamdullilah I have never been pressured to do things for any male related reasons. Even marriage has never been brought up to me once.
I'm guessing this might be a family thing?

i think she means everything a women does or achieves. If she puts makeup on its to get attention from men, or if she decides to work out its for men. I get where she is coming from, as if women aint a Individual person but connected to her husband or future child(ren) for example a somali women becomes a doctor or laywer etc, its always "Now you have a lot of money to take care of your children and husband" "Your future husband is lucky" etc.

Not really I take shower and wear whatever is in the closet in 5 minutes and then go outside. My motto in life is be comfortable and hygienic. And I go to school for the sake of finding a job one day and if a man feels intimidated by women with knowledge and a job than he is insecure and got a low self esteem and we can just ignore men like that. Personally never dealt with people like that. Considering the fact that in this day and age there is a lot of women in college and there a lot of women who work. It will be weird to see someone who is not use to women with jobs or in college by now and then feel intimidated by it.

oh, and if dressing up is not your thing then you don’t need to and don’t feel pressure to do things you don’t want to and if society judges you well then ignore it because society’s opinion is not needed to live life comfortably and happy.
