Lack of historical buildings in SS Africa?

If we include North Africa, then Africa does have very impressive looking Mosques that are better looking than Ottoman/Turkish-style, Persian-style and South Asian-style Mosques IMO.

Some examples of Berber/Moorish Style Mosques:

We were a nomadic peoples that migrates to find better grazing for our livestock. We didn't exactly have time to dedicate to building monuments that could take decades. Same story with a lot of nomadic peoples, eg. Mongols, Scythians etc.

I’m talking about Sub Saharan Africa

Well the Ancient Egyptian culture permeated down to SSA in the form of Nubia, Axum, Sahelian empires of Ghana and Mali, and the Swahili/Banadir coast civilization all before European Colonization.

Europeans were cave dwelling hunter gathers prior to non-European neolithic farmers from the Near East bringing over agriculture and along with that civilization.

probably their predominantly ancestry were Eurasian

Likely Intermediate. There was also no North Sudan. It was an extension of Southern Egypt.

Also Axum Burned Kingdom Kush to the ground.

I don't know what remains of Aksum beyond the last Obleix they errected around 1600 y/o during King Ezana's reign. At the time he controlled North Ethiopia, North Sudan, Yemen and parts of Southern Arabia.

They want a monument to bolster their self-esteem. :drakekidding: When living in antiquity no matter the location sucked. The probability of them being a part of the largely illerate serf classes would be higher than being among the learned priest or noble classes. They would have been epically scammed by someone calling themselves next to a Pantheon of Dieties or God in authority aka a King/Emperor. And would unquestionably obey. At least Somalis bowed to no one but their creator. We never needed a Tower of Babylon.

Don't think I've ever seen someone completely trash the "WE WUZ KANGZ ND CHIEFS" argument with such eloquence and sound reasoning. I tip my fedora to you, mein Fräulein

The ruins of Great Zimbabwe, Construction on the city began in the 11th century and continued until it was abandoned in the 15th century. The edifices were erected by the ancestral Shona. It's considered a world UNESCO heritage site, this also created mass waves of descendants of Cecil Rhodes to distort the history of this site and justified the establishment of Rhodesia in prior to disregarding Black Historical monuments.
