There is! It's just that it got lost during the void century. The three great libraries contain all of the information on Somali history, two of which were burned(Library of Alexandria/House of Wisdom)
and one of which is kept beneath the Vatican. Isn't it strange that Somalis, who take pride in their abti tirsi, stop at Samaale? Or that there are so many ancient somali scripts that die out at random? All attempts to recover the lost history fail. Even Siad Barre used the war in Ogaden as a cover to reach the lost ark in Ethiopia and give Somalia a chance to raid the Vatican.
