Knife crime in London

Recently there has been a lot of talk online regarding knife crime in London
This was sparked after Black British model Harry Uzoka was robbed and stabbed to death by two random thugs

Knife crime has risen rapidly over the years
I’ve even known a few kids that have been victim to it. AUN to them.
As a solution, our mayor Sadiq Khan proposed bringing back stop and search (which they made illegal)
However many black people are claiming this will lead to racial profiling (the vast majority of knife and gun crime is comitted by blacks)

Black brits are literally the same as Black Americans, just with diff accents. They have the exact same issues in their community (violence, single parent households, uneducated) esp Caribbeans.

Stop and search will have an impact . That being said, knife crime will still continue to increase because it is now completely embedded in UK street culture . Stabbing someone is like punching someone to these kids . Furthermore , due to fights and robberies being recorded and uploaded to social media , gang members are more paranoid than ever of being embarrassed .

Are any of you okay with being searched? Even by a cop with an agenda?

The latter is the issue here. Otherwise I'd be cool with stop and search if it truly brings results.

Don't want people getting into situations because of racist cops, no matter the country.

I think the number of somali youth who are killed is a little over exaggerated. When one of our boys dies, everyone knows so it feels like a lot

There's definitely hope for many of generation. Many are university or college educated. These mistakes happen in our teens, but they will mature soon.

I wouldnt say its shitty, theres alot to like, but its just some of the things they glorify in music etc is being spread around their mannerisms, way of talking, dressing, everything, and the lack of originality from other groups.
