This all boils down to lack of gheerah. They don’t care about how their wife dresses or how she presents themselves. Waa dad diin heesanin, spiritually dead people. Khabib is being respectful, he is not touching another mans wife. Western women should also not be offended, Khabib is respecting her status and honoring her. Laakin haddii gaal tahay oo weliba Eebbe aqoonsanin iyo Asaga ka cabsanin, you don’t have deep rooted morals. These people are lost.
Khabib imo could have handled this better, he shouldn’t have shaken those guys hands, just a generic ”hello guys” would have sufficed. I know for a fact his intentions for not shaking the womans hands were pure, I just mean he could have saved himself from a hassle. Im also telling this from my perspective at work, I avoid shaking hands by not shaking hands at all if possible, depends on the situation.

normal cadaans and randos defo dont care about the whole handshake rejection thing not cus everyone dosent care about the post-thrashing of inter milan interviews but cus people always diffuse that same scenario every time saying its a sign of respect and explain it however it is now only being being criticized now by these twitter guys and probably anyone else getting megaxanaag about it so they can use this as an excuse not to bash Islam on the internet (they do want and was certainly fixing to do that) but because it was on live tv after the ucl final which hundreds of thousands of people where still watching at the time and would question why khabib did that if they didnt know and now they try get away with whatever they'll preach about on social media

Don’t fall for this silly propaganda, there’s western standards towards touching women too, look at the whole hover hands fiasco with celebrities.
These same people will complain about the handshake while supporting hover hands after the me too movement, absolute hypocrisy and if you catch them in their lies they’ll pretend like there’s some solid line in terms of how to touch a women and how not to, yet they all have different opinions, some will say hip touch is fine while others will say shoulder touch is fine, but hip touch is too much, they’re all confused.
Islam makes this very clear, you cannot touch non-mahram women period, this is meant as a protection for women and a protection for men.

My mom’s neighbors are an even more extreme version of this. The nigga and his brother’s weird behaviors legit creepy me out. For example, if he sees my mom in the hallway, he will literally turn around and run back to his apartment, only coming back out once she’s gone inside. If he sees a woman in the elevator, he’ll turn around and take the stairs instead. How can someone like this function in a society like the USA? or even Somalia for that matter?
Countries like Saudi ( birthplace of Wahhabism) and others are moving away from this kind of fanaticism. We should do the same thing and get rid of the wahhabi and wahhabi lite aka salafis or else we’re truly in big trouble long term

There are disagreements and different interpretations of Islam especially when applied to this situation. Some scholars believe it is meant when there is a risk of zina/fitna. Not when it comes to diplomatic and sports represent nations so its apart of it. Both sides are intolerant including the Muslim haters and the intolerant Muslims. Both are annoying.
One of my male prof hugged me during my graduation the other male prof seems more reserved and only shook hands. I jist practice discernment. This intolerance of other people cultures is offensive. I dont think they should attack him but it would've been better if he didn't shake anyone's hands instead leaving her out because it embarrassed her. Both sides seem a bit over the top.
A lot of these Muslim men are Gay yet I never see them avoiding the hand of a man that they can have zina and anal with. Which is like double haram.
This version of not touching any woman applies more to extreme Muslims (similar to Orthodox Jews, Monks, Priests) etc.

I don’t like shaking hands in general but I especially hate shaking hands with men and I refuse to do it. I used to do it when I was younger and many of them were so creepy about it and holding my hand for much longer than necessary. I understand why it’s haram now.

The Western handshake evolved from people showing their hand to make the other trust them (no gun). To now its the hallmark of business.
This is true. Men can be very desperate at times. Some just want a woman to smile and flirt at them. That alone can make their day. I personally dont like touching them either unless its in a context like work in the West respecting their culture.
But context is very important Khabib is young, rich athlete so at that level he becomes more like the hunted not the hunter. Doesn't mean he can't rape or be pervy but chances are he has a woman or multiple. It doesnt make sense to not distinguish. He still has to follow Islamic law of course but he probably needs more protection from women and hell men sexually than the other way around.
This is why fitna can be very destructive. It doesnt take much for a woman to call him a rapist and his whole career ending.
