Ketogenic diet

Did anyone ever tried the ketogenic diet? If yes, How easily/soon can you lose weight following this diet?

Do the paleo Stone Age diet I lost over 25kg in 6 months with cardio (40 min a day) sadly I lost my stamina and this diet is extremely hard (low carb) and I love carbs ! But it’s rewarding. Another advice do not eat after 7pm no pasta iyo Bariis.

Ketogenic diet is bad it stops you from getting sufficient vitamins and minerals from vegetables and fruits. Getting rid of refined carbs from your diet its a good start. I follow Dr Rhonda Patrick’s diet and supplements she’s really informative.

Never heard of that diet before. It’s true It is really hard to continue with this diet. It’s very expensive too

Walaahi it’s difficult because tbh my nutrition mainly consists of carbs. But the key to losing weight is reduce carb intake and exercise 1 hour a day lift weights do something be physically active for at least 3 to 4 times a week. also walk 10k steps a day. When I do that I notice weight loss

That’s one of the reasons why I don’t think I will continue with this diet. I love eating fruits but with this low carb diet I’m only allowed to eat fruits/vegetables that have minimal sugar

you can eat fruit but stay from anything made of wheat. Bread, pasta, rice, cereal, pastries and etc

I tried it and it was a struggle cause carbs are life. I’d recommend to moderating your carb intake

I get what you mean. Somali diet is 90% carbs it’s really hard to switch from a diet that consists mainly of carbs to one with minimal carbs.

I hear you also Keto diet doesn’t give you the amount of fibre you need for the day (25 g for women and 30 g for men) which is crucial for our health especially as probiotics for our gut health. You should still consume fruits with low sugar though like blueberries, kiwis, strawberries etc but consume more greens like kale and and cruciferous vegetables.
