Why is Kenya so unserious to even allow Shabaab on their border? Don’t they have thousands of troops in JL? Can’t they manage the border within Somalia…

Kenyans really can’t fight. Just look at what happened whenever AS attacked their bases, the Kenyan soldiers hid. The only use they provide is heavy weaponry and air cover. Most of the heavy lifting is done by the Jubbaland Darawish. The problem with the border is that it is long and very rural

It’s not possible for Kenya to be guarding every km of border line with soldiers. It is why they need to support regional forces like Jubaland to maintain security on the other side of the border. The attacks in Lamu can be stopped if we train Somali troops in Jubaland to be stationed near the Boni forest with proper equipment. I think Ahmed Madoobe needs to take advantage and send troops there
