Reer NFD needs to show out and help this census get conducted properly with acceptable statistics I believe the numbers will shock everybody Somalis at 5m across Kenya is my prediction

3) Somali officials want to embezzle more money from the government. The bigger the population, the more money it gets.

The corruption isnt just the Somalis the last census cost 3x as much as the Ethiopian one iirc even though Kenyas half the size and population. Ruto who is now loved by the Somalis also stands to gain from an increased share from one of Kenyas largest tribes that can also vote together in large swathes reliably.

Somali politicians across clan have been united in rejecting this 2019 census since its release and even prior. The petition for another NEP census was officially from Garissa county.

I think there will be change but i agree that it might not be on a clan level. Nor does it concern anyone who increases more considering we dont all share a county.

NFD politics is such that a Degoodi can report their governor and let a rival Ogaden take power in Wajir and then follow him until they get the governorship back without serious protest or scandal in either direction.

Somalia on the other hand is completely zero sum.
