Because they’re not madow and their homelands aren’t next door? People are more envious of those they see as closer to them. I’m holding Somalis accountable. It has nothing to do with being madow or not being madow . If you have actually been in Kenya you’ll see how these people move. The average white/south asian wants nothing to do with the average Kenyan. They make sure they stay as far away as possible from them because they understand their nature. They don’t want to see the Kenyan and they make sure the Kenyan doesn’t see them. This is how they always avert the Kenyans eye when it comes to the media.

Yet the Somali who have seen the ugly side of Kenyans through different massacres always find ourselves flaunting our wealth, engaging in discourse with them or even just being to trustworthy of them. In an ideal world there should be nothing wrong with this but when you live in a 3rd world country full of disgruntled people who want to blame someone for their failures they will make sure to blame you. Why? Because you made yourself visible to them .

If you are gonna live amongst your enemy it’s on you to be cautious of them.

I don’t disagree with that. They hate us just like how they hated the south Asians back in the 70s . But what did the south Asians do afterwards ? They seperated themselves from the Kenyan and understood them as their enemy .Now they run all major industries in Kenya from behind the scenes . They don’t insist on letting the Kenyans know that everything is run by them . We open up 1 mall and all of the sudden we gotta let the whole world know it’s owned by a Somali who hails from so and so qabil.

We get a long just fine with Kenyans. I'm at the heart of it here in islii and every Somali restaurant or warehouse/shop employs a number of them. It's mutually beneficial

Kenyans are mostly peaceful people compared to us. I have seen the clips making the rounds on social media. Somali boys were disrespecting the Kenyan flag and flat out harassing some Kenyans. Many Somalis have built good lives in Kenya, both native sijus and many from abroad. It would be a shame if widespread violence were to break out though I highly doubt it. With that said, i do wish the Somalis there would have some sort of a security contingency plan just in case shit hits the fan. As things stand, they're sitting ducks which is very unwise on their part. You can't just invest in the country, create families and have children there and not be ready for a rainy day. Even the cadaans in America, despite being the majority in the country and with all the powers concentrated in their hands are armed to the teeth just in case.
