I was doing a google search on Ferdinand Lassalle and that's how I ended up finding out Marx was racist. LOL, before even reading Marx's comment on Lassalle I thought he had oddly kinky hair for a Jew, .

There probably will be a revolution at some point in the next few decades as human labor loses its value. Automation will make hundreds of millions, if not billions, obsolete and a drag on the economy. I can see countries that are small/homogeneous sharing together the fruits of their capital, but big/diverse countries will not implement such schemes imo. I cannot see the US, UK, Brazil, India ever having the redistribution that will be necessary to avoid the astronomical levels of inequality that automation will produce.

There is really no excuse for calling dark skinned people subhuman. I honestly can't think of a period where the argument for it was ever valid. Especially since there were other intellectuals writing against such racist views. Marx was a racist, because he was a racist - not because everyone in his time period had to be a racist.
