I seen the pics of them in Cowsweyne there isn’t many of them just a few dozen I reckon (in the pics it was a a few lads lined up with Gaafow present

It’s probably the clearing of mines thats taking them a while. I think they’re clearing out countryside and tuulo areas as well since before they’d just get to the town quick, as we saw with Ceel dheer/xarardheere/galcad in one day back in January.

Currently the tactics are to walk, 5 meters apart for each soldier, keeping one or two teknikos/PM a few kms behind the infantry, they also aren’t making bases and just pushing forward in a sweeping formation across the whole front. This way Shabaab can’t ambush the troops from behind, attack bases for re-supply or successfully use VBIEDs that take out 50+ soldiers

So will take time but be very successful. In the past we didn’t have enough soldiers for an op like this hence why the SNA just captured cities and ended up being in an island.

Security experts are saying if this is successful this is the biggest SNA victory since Shabaab was kicked out of Xamar in 2011

May Allah grant them success. It’s better in the long run this way plus any shabaab hiding out will be dealt with.

As if that wasn't going to happen anyway, but HSM is betting on defeating Alshaydaan before it happens, after Alshaydaan is defeated HSM can claim victory and the clan war that will follow he doesn't care.
