you guys getting paid by FGS. I hope HSM cut funding for all these folks who trying to hold him and nation hostage and not doing their job

Yall spitting on graves of all the people who put lives on the line
I don’t think the macawiisley are getting paid much, they’re also going to a clan’s land that doesn’t want them there.

HSM will have to do a lot to convince other clans to liberate galgaduud sxb, especially cos the place is meat grinder.

thats tragic man. we gonna be back to ICU days here soon im thinking

No. the major clans are strong enough to hold them.

Anyway soon the FGS will have air power, everything can change with the arms embargo lifted imo

Have we fulfilled any requirements since the last UN session? I'm afraid that the recent developments will make IC more sceptical towards easing the embargo, just like last time.

It’s mostly political, I doubt the plans rumoured to be agreed a few months ago will change last minute.

Why can't we buy drones on our own and then let our partners operate it for us if they don't trust us? I'm sure there's a possibility to circumvent the embargo like the current exemptions if we manage to convince our partners that it's urgent in assisting us in on the ground.

I was looking around and I saw how drones like Iran's Kamikaze drones cost about 20k each. Imagine 50 drones for 1 million USD!!! It would've been game changer.

Tbh, if we don’t see much progress by the end of the year, I agree with what C/Hakiim Guleed said in the space yesterday; essentially begin conscription, shut schools and pause on everything else. Especially in the regions/states where the fighting occurs. And literary purge everyone who stands in the way of the war and sabotaging the liberation efforts, from the top until the bottom. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. God forbid we return to those days :francis:

Most interesting part is the clan dynamic. He thanks Waceysle for Cowsweyne, says many clans refused to support the offensives but they took part in helping Shabaab which made them more special. Also says Murusade helped and this was unthinkable in the past due to their clan wars. Says this was a victory that has been long waited. Also says HG have refused to support HSM’s offensive. He adds also that Waceysle used to not be fighters but that has changed. Seems to be speaking to HSM’s sub of Waceysle too.

Edit:
Is he the cousin of HSM, he sounds like a lot.

Simple, Al Shabab do not use tribal politics. They try to transcend it. If you ever think that a 4.5 tribalist institution can beat an international terrorist group that can even rule non-Somalia in Kenya, you’re in a for a rude awakening. I just wanted the government to karbaash them but I always new it would be impossible unless we left qabyaalad like they have.
Actually, they do use elements of clanism to their advantage. Such as recruiting clans with grievances to fight for them, and by labeling clans who do not support terrorism as murtads.
