6. 20 August - Somaliland region appointed governor for Badhan district gets attacked and many of his soldiers killed after they try to enter Hadaaftimo

7. 23 August - Head of Sland troops in Badhan Guray Fatah defects to Puntland with 230 men and 20 technicals

Honourable mention to this from the end of May:

• Somaliland's designated governor of Badhan district defected to Puntland.
• Over 1,000 Somaliland soldiers plus two commanders have defected to join Puntland
• Somaliland military bases looted by defectors in Xingalool.

This is all just from today. There are Somaliland bases in Yubbe, Dhahar and Hadaaftimo that will probably be looted next.

In the space of just a few hours, Somaliland has lost their foothold in east Sanaag, handing it over to Puntland without them lifting even a finger. Has there been a bigger military blunder in Somali history?

June was indeed a nasty month but nothing hurts more than Caare & Pland taking turns to slaughter them which is why July-Aug takes the cup so far. We don't know what Sept-Dec will bring, it might surprise us even more.

SL loves the IC and a full out war is against their wishes. They hope for the IC to recognise the one day.

I say f*ck ictiraaf and go for full out war with PL.. We both know even when yall amassed more than tens of thousands of soldiers you couldn't push us back.
