Why do Somali political enthusiasts jump the gun and get hyperbolic all the time? The solution isn’t to bring up the country just because your feelings are hurt.

I understand that national unity is important, but strategically, it would be beneficial for Hassan to encourage Jubaland to distance themselves from Somali politics and disengage from the federal government. ensuring that major Darod figures have limited influence on the political landscape at this time.
This would create the right conditions for advancing his agenda.

In the south, a well-calculated strategy of managing key Hawiye factions—particularly the Habargidir—would be essential, as they could pose challenges to his plans. By maintaining a steady course until the successful implementation of the one-man, one-vote system, he can then move forward with greater control.
This approach relies on carefully navigating the political landscape—introducing instability ,qabyalad and choas while discreetly laying the groundwork for long-term objectives.

Balkanization isnt possible today but we can take steps to cage this problem. We had a political party advocate against Somalia, our predecessors knew how this will go.

I dont think the yamyam realize that JLs unrealized potential proves the point. Ogadens are in 2 other countries and we do significantly better then Somalia as a whole even when enemies of state for decades.

I just can’t understand two things.
How countries like China and India can have a single ruler despite being a 1.5 billion each with multitudes of distinct people groups while we think we need to be ruled by our tribesmen despite being so few and so homogeneous.
Second, we get along in the diaspora just fine which means we can also get along in our country. Do you know how painfully stupid and low IQ you have to be as a group of people to be like that?

I wouldn’t mind marehan being president of jubaland.
I wouldn’t mind gaboye/reer xamar or jarerwayne being the president of the country. I just want a functioning Somalia where the country isn’t being stolen dry by foreigners and safe enough for families to return and bring their kids home.
I got kids, where am I supposed to take them now that they’re growing up? Staying in the west isn’t an option so what do I do? Wonder around in “Islamic” or “African” countries like a gypsy? Like my country isn’t Muslim or African?
Everything we fight over today is unbelievably small compared to what we are losing and what we will continue to lose.

People don’t want to hear it but certain Somali groups aren’t prepped for politics and leadership. Imply from that what you will. Every race and ethnicity has a hierarchy and a noble and ignoble section.
