#Update There is heavy fighting on the outskirts of Xagar and just last night a secret operation was launched in Weel Marow. Jubbaland must continue the momentum and bring the fight to Shabab. I hope Jubbaland forces continue the hit & run tactic before setting base in liberated towns. There are many shabab members pretending to be civilian and collecting intelligence for the group.

There is still fighting going on in Weelmarow with Jubaland forces finishing off the injured & fleeing Shabab fighters. Al-Shabab prepared a sucide vehicle followed by an infantry unit in jilib with the intention of storming a military base. Jubaland troops who were scouting near Weelmarow fired upon the vehicle which initially started the clash. Troops on JL side received reinforcements and have now managed to secure control of the area.

The few soldiers who were martyred was because of the suicide vehicle that exploded. That’s how you know these cowards can’t fight without their usual strategy of storming bases using multiple SVBIED

The locals will only do that when they have some military support. As long as they are held hostage by the terrorist Khawarij and out-gunned, they won’t be able to snitch or fight off Al-Shabab.
