Lascanood had many assassinations of local government officials going back to 2011 Somaliland police was actually afraid of patrolling eastern side of Lascanood because most assassination attempt happened there. Even Buuhoodle in one occasion suffered from unknown assassination using Al Shabab tactics of placing explosives under vehicles of offichals.



No one wants to admit this but there is sleeping cells of Al shabaab in Sool region and Somaliland has largely managed to hide this fact from the public now that they failed to prevent Al Shabaab assassination campaigns they take it out on weakest link scapegoating entire communities for their own shortcomings and uprooting them all in inhuman manner.
