They’ll have another meeting to review FGS progress in a few months in Turkey. Hopefully we’ll see further improvements as ATMIS 2,000 will leave, more UAE trained troops are arriving every week ready to replace these troops. Another 3,000 are projected to leave by the end of the year.

U.K. support for lifting arms embargo is very important as they’ve been concerned due to their support for SL which is terrified of the FGS getting access to arms

I am not enthusiastic about this (potential to be abused like it would’ve been under Farmaajo) but it’s got to be done if we want to have a chance of progressing. Also yes might as well do it under a government that has good relations with most of the states and neighbouring countries
