They admit to it (genocide, broken treaties, etc.) because the job is done (conquest of the Americas), and they have very little to lose. Not because cadaans possess some higher sense of virtue.

Political reasons (NATO, etc). Yesterday was the date when the genocide began. It's very historic. Many countries have recognized it years ago. It was a genocide of Christians and its time to admit to it so the Armenian people can begin to heal. Just because the Turks are Muslims and built a few hospitals in Somalia , it doesn't mean you get to deny the evils they have committed.

Have you thanked the Mississaugas tribe for welcoming you as a settler? We have done all of these things and we do if often. You bring them up but you are the one who doesn't care. The huge difference is that they admit to it, take full responsibility for it, educate future generations about it so it doesn't happen again, allow them self governance and assist them with resources, and have been improving their relationship with the Indigenous since then.
