I think it's a nice looking home. I like older looking buildings. Its expensive because of the location.
Houses are very small in England though. They all live like packed sardines. Those homes above are two to three times the size of a regular London home. Those homes are the exception.

Doubt there is any abuse going on. More children you, the bigger house the council give you. That house is worth that because of its location. Fair play to them.
The house is only that expensive because of the location. In London, you can find dingy little squats that are supposedly worth a hell of a lot. Look at the house, it's not all that, it's an average family house. Really they're complaining about them not being relocated to a poorer area. But if they tried that without their consent, there could be problems. People complain about being seperated from their communities, families, friends etc. The issue is the amount of kids they have and where they are. Nobody can really do much about that except try and get the parents into work and possible force them out of the area, but that's easier said than done. At least the father is still with that family

The point is, a house for that amount of money should be alot bigger than that!

Yeah houses in England are super expensive but what do you expect the country's tiny.
I got the point, just giving my 2 cents on the ugly housing in the UK.
