Japanese thoughts on Somalia tribe system

@Apollo

What do you think about my theory on the origin of Ethiopia Semitic tribes?

Supposedly the people who lived around lake Tana (around the Habesh capital Gondar) were pagan agaws till the 14th century, so how and when did tribes like Gurage, Aggroba and Sidama become Semetic?
There is no Semitic tribes in the horn’s except in Somalia like carab saalax

Calling anyone in the Horn semites is funny. Cause you all know for sure if you went to the land of Shem/MENA you'd be called Cushi/Habash/Somal/African.
Pretty much but if we’re speaking about lineage only caraab saalax and few banaadirs (Somalia ) and rashaida (Eritrea) are from the semetic lineage but the rest are just we wuz and sheeit.

The funny thing about this is that East African semetic lineage like carab saalax is that they look Somali and not arab anymore and they would be called Somali if they go Middle East 😂

Same with those people in Oman that claim a somali lineage. If they came to Somalia they'd get called an Arab/Deghace. They are Arab but have some guy far up the tree that happens to be somali who cares. Same with these thing like carab saalax.

There's people on this site I argued with who tell me they're Arab by lineage because of their clam myth that isn't supported by history or genetics. Even if it was true, why would you claim the heritage of a region you are thousands of years removed from. addoon behaviour. It's like those people that get 1% something on their Dna test and make it their personality. You're just Larping atp.

I thought we all knew that highlanders are central cushites agew tribes that got assimilated 3,000 years ago by north yemen semites.
There is no way someone can say habash are semites/MENA with a straight face.

3000 years ago is a huge stretch, I haven’t seen any evidence to prove the semetised tribes weren’t only a small fraction of the current population. The vast majority of highlanders/Ethiosemites were semetised during the Solomonic dynasty who used their non existent axumite connections to forge a new identity

No that's when the Yemeni first arrived as a ruling class in modern Eritrea.
The vast majority of Habash today In the interior, Amhara, were still Cushitic Agew who got assimilated in the last 1,000 years because of the Abyssinian state who believed themselves to be of semetic stock like the previous ruling classes in ancient times.

I question the reach of Axum's culture when there are still Muslim Cushite's who are closest to Yemen who've been under their rule for some time on and off. Either they didn't interfere with their non Christian subjects or Its more complicated

All large states had many different cultures that are under the rule of one dominant culture.

It's only in modern era that large states started assimilating all the cultures into the dominant one instead of simply ruling them. That's why Europe was very different 200 years ago compared to today. In napoleon's time most people in France didn't speak French but their local languages. Like the whole southern France spoke a language that sounded more like italian/Spanish.

Axum was a mixture of Cushitic Agew and semetic culture that managed to form a state that expanded its borders. They may have controlled yemen but that didn't mean yemenis became culturally similar to Axumites. They were just ruled and payed taxes to Axum.
