All the candidates are being assembled in kismayo for their campaigns then they will go to Ceelwaaq for elections. Even GalMudug former minister who is vying for a Gedo seat is in kismayo campaigning although I doubt he’ll make it to the finale.

I think Janan has better chance, because reer Axmed has one MP and the guy who was mp before they don’t like him. So reer Ahmed will more likely select Janan
Whereas Macalimu sub clan is smallest in Reer Xasan. Reer Xasan’s two to three MP will be taken by bigger Reer Xasan subclan s.
