It's interesting to see how this contrasts with the Somali government's approach to citizenship. For those of you who are not aware, all Somalis are automatic citizens of Somalia. In 2019, the Somali court ruled that someone from Djibouti is a citizen as a matter of birth right; sending him a passport when Norway wanted to expel them from the country.

That's why they're two different countries. In Somalia, a somali man who was born in Ethiopia and Kenya can become president or hold any position in the government. He then furthers the interests of Kenya and Ethiopia in Somalia instead of the interests of the residents. In Somaliland only a citizen can vote for a Somalilander president with a democratic system of 1 man 1 vote at the ballots so he can be held accountable. In Somalia, a 4.5 clan system is in place where the parliament are given seats based on their tribe, then they are bribed by a foreign somali stooge who they select as the leader of the country. No accountability and no representation of the residents, aside from some strange 4.5 clan affiliation in parliament

Article 4 just gives citizenship to everyone

@Wir I have a strong feeling that only in ex Italian Somalia (post 1991 independent Somalia) the fascist idea of shanta Greater Somalia has a high degree of support among not just ordinary people but from (in secret) politicians/public officials

That's not what the Constitution says mate, but you must be another 68IQ resident so it's expected

And Yes, Somaliland passport is accepted in kenya

How come the somaliland singers get Somali passport when travelling to Nairobi? Lmfao, they always go to Garowe to get one :mjlol:

In their own words they don't trust the black market in hargeisa who makes fake Somali passports.

The real 68IQ is the nonexistent state in Somalia thinking they can have their own passport. :russ:
