The UN has shown to be incapable of accomplishing anything. It makes rules and set goals but it has no way of enforcing their own rules or accomplishing their goals.

They are basically a business, profiteering off of bad situations

The UN isn't 'global order enforcer' but an 'assembly' of world nations, they don't have the right to enforce anything in any nation without violating their sovereignty but they do provide best practises and world consensus advice which u should see as sign to 'evolve' and work in the world u live in not work against the world u live in.

They do have some 'enforcement powers' regarding security and embargos at the state level on certain nations thru an assembly vote but they can't control the black market trade. They also do have peacekeeping power but then again they can't join the war in any stage or take sides. So it's role is mainly centered around telling nation states what the global consensus is regarding national or international matters, social matters, human rights, good governance and u should take it on board so your not out of line with the world u live in or else your just working against the wind. The UN isn't going to solve your problems, it doesn't have jurisdiction over your nation, it will tell you govt what their UN policy is which is quite consistent with any nation they deal with. They don't flip flop.

If this guy was a boxer and dodged punches the way he dodges questions regarding killings of somali civilians by AMISOM and the US he would be world champ

With the UN mission as it is right now we have no hope with these people
