This government also re-established the Office of the Auditor General (OAGS) in 2017.

I always find it funny when news sites accuse the government of corruption and cite the OAGS's own reports but completely side-step the fact this institution was created by the same government they are maligning.

Dont forget the current administration is the first ever to arrest a government employee for corruption, Farmaajo’s own clan member was caught stealing COVID funds and was duly arrested.

Are we really lauding governments for signing pledges and agreements to tackle corruption? Am I missing something here? Did the government uncover massive corruption or arrest dozens of officials? Signing some anti corruption pledge on Anti Corruption Day is not newsworthy or worthy of lofty praise.
