The reason why he’ve lost is because of bad PR, the Barkhad Abdi jokes “Im the captain now” meme throwing around at him. He should’ve worked on his profile and his presentation. But the Somali racism got to his pool run. He should’ve present himself like the way Mamdani did by collaborating with other minorities, showing of some charisma and doing some festivals.
The worst thing he’ve done was (and I know you guys going to hate me say this) collaborating with Illhan Omar for his campaign. She was not the right person he needs for support.
Another issue is he was waving this flag. Which is not an American nor Minnesota flag. Not sure what this flag was supposed represent.
