They both look like blood drinkers from Hollyweird and I think this case is a media distraction.

They are both abusive. JD is a drunkard and druggie who has a history of beating up those who work for him and Amber is an unhinged weirdo. Right now, JD is winning the media campaign, however the tide is turning as it turns out he was the one that started hitting her first, but Amber is scary. Apparently, she used to shit the bed to get revenge/piss him off. That is demonic.
Where'd you see this? Most of the people who work for him or used to work for him keep saying he was always great to them meanwhile the only employee of Amber's I've seen speak (her personal assistant) couldn't stop talking about how nasty she was to her and mentioned a story about how Amber literally spat in her face while insulting her:
Same woman seems to say Depp was always nice to her. That's her assistant saying that Johnny was always nice and that Amber was horrible to her. And over 5 different people in this case, including two cops, have testified that they never saw any marks of any kind on her whenever she got people or the police involved or whenever there were incidents. It's also worth noting that this guy's exes all came out defending him saying he never laid a hand on them:

The actor had filed a libel suit against British newspaper The Sun that referred to Depp as a 'wife -beater'.
The guy definitely has issues with drugs and had some unfortunate incidents but I think it's plausible that she's a manipulative liar especially given that psychiatrist's diagnosis and how the recordings between them seem to fit with what the psych was saying:

Fair enough. But that doesn't prove that he did anything to her. He was with his ex before her for over a decade and she claims he never touched her. Men who are actually abusive like that toward their partners don't suddenly get that way in their 50s. And it says a lot that outside of those 2 incidents everyone who works for him keeps singing his praises while her one employee couldn't stop talking about how nasty she is. And he had to be drunk to do that. This young lady spat in her assistant's face and cussed her out stone cold sobber.
And can you back up that claim about him hitting her? He maintains he never touched her and that it's all made-up and again, it's pretty suspicious how literally everyone, including the cops, say they never saw a mark on her:
How do you know he wasn't sober then? Drugs and drink changes people and brings out the worst. I'm sorry if someone is capable of punching up someone they work with because they're under the influence, what makes you think they won't punch up someone they're around all the time whom they have a toxic relationship?
I don't know why people are hell-bent on defending a druggie. I wouldn’t bet my money on them and wouldn't bet my money on Amber as she's a crazy mess as well.

That being said, I find all the over-defending of him a bit much myself but you have to admit things don't look good for her. A psychologist diagnosed her as basically suffering from BPD which is a condition where people do often do what she's being accused of (pathologically lying about their partner, even falsely claiming abuse when they were the abuser), then there's tapes like this and the fact that literally every witness brought to the stand keeps saying they saw no marks on her during incidents where she claimed she was being hit:

The verdict will not come down to what he did (which we do not know) but how he appears. This woman has too many holes in her story/inconsistencies and is coming across as very unlikeable and vengeful. While Johnny was painted as more human and honest. He has not tried to portray himself as a saint and its known he has gotten into fights with men. Some individuals have a very nuanced set of beliefs. Where they may think beating men is fair game but may draw the line with women. Though I can see why that would draw some parallels since drug abuse and domestic violence tend to co-occur but that is not to say that substance abuse causes domestic violence it merely aggravates it. None of his Exes have come forward with similar allegations. The most Kate Moss (a fellow substance user) said was he trashed a hotel and that they had a tumultuous relationship (she has not spoken about him to my knowledge). And any parroted allegation of him pushing Moss down some stairs is hearsay as it was 'heard' by Amber Heard who mentioned it.
There are literal text messages where he says he did it himself, but now he is saying that he said it to protect Amber. By the way this is man that has three day binges in which he is completely out of it:

There are inconsistencies because she's trying to paint herself as a victim. Johnny isn't a victim and neither is she. He met his match with her and she gave it to him as much as she got from him.
