Ive noticed a patern

Why is it that clans/states/provinces that were colonized by the brits almost always want secession from the rest of their kin?
Hong kong, Togoland, South sudan, somaliland etc.

Every single one of them spout the same rhetoric; "We are oppressed, they committed genocide on us blah blah blah"

On the other hand if you look at people who actually went through these traumas from their country men have come to terms with eachother and are flourishing.

I dont mind if Somaliland secedes but I really do wonder if they ever thought that "Hey maybe this is a plan by the brits"?

:manny: Kawaran?

Bro Hong Kong was ruled by a British colonial administration and had BRITISH LAW and Culture completely different from Somaliland. For over 140+ years of direct high involvement

All of Sudan was colonized by the British

Togo was a German colony

Dogshit theory lmao

Same thing bro Togoland was the German colony taken over by the British post WWI at Versailles. It got split into French Togoland and British togoland. The British part is in Ghana today, French togoland is the country Togo

Yo I shot his theory to pieces read the first comment lmao

On May 9, 2017 the Homeland Study Group Foundation unsuccessfully tried to declare the independence of Western Togoland. On Thursday May 9, 2019, the Ghana Police Service said the eight leaders of the Study Group Foundation arrested for seeking secession from Ghana planned to declare its independence.

Bro why are you trying to make a pattern of British colonies making successionist movements. EVEN if I was going to accept this point of yours I literally dismantled every other example you brought up so it's the exception and not the rule anyways.

I'm not well versed with Togo and it's ethnic groups same as Ghana but when a piece of one colony gets severed and thrown into another colony ie German Togoland gets lumped into the British Togoloand and then the British Gold Coast and finally Ghana there's bound to be actual ethnic differences at play. Somalia is an exception in Africa with the remarkable lack of diversity we have.

Your name sounds quite Celtic. :yacadiim:

You really didnt dismantle it lool

Also this isnt my theory
Divide and conquer is a well known strategy used by the brits
and in certain areas where insecurity is the highest (ie,Somaliland)
it stays with them for a while
