As a Allah SWT blessed, landheer MJ, first time I had cambuulo, I thougt I would turn into a red-eyed moryaan and set up a isbaaro checkpoint outside my house. But surprisingly I didnt and it was delicios, I had it with sesame oil and sugar. I liked it a lot.
Hutu cuisine, isn't too bad after all.

I went to a friend's house on Tuesday. Her mom gave me Cambulo Iyo Galay (cooked corn) with sugar and butter. At first I was offended she would offer me such dish, so I thought to myself I will only take 2 bites to be respectful.


I ended finishing the plate and caught myself asking the mom for recipe.


I slipped up wallahi. She had to add something in it, it tasted so good wallahi.

Nah not really. It's eaten all over SL, Djibouti and the upper regions of Somali Galbeed(Ogadenia). The cadaans brought harakoo with them to these regions and we made a somali and more delicious version of it
