Somali president HSM in Italy.

Both Eritrea and Somalia were former Italian colonies. So having good diplomatic ties with Italy aren’t bad.

HSM can use his trip to gain more support against the MOU. Many high ranking EU and western officials are there aswell.

All three former Italian colonies are complete shitholes. 2 are failed states (Somalia & Libya) while Eritrea is Africa’s answer to North Korea but without a formidable army & 10x the poverty rate.
