Bra in italian is reggiseno-reggipetto and Somali rajastiin -Rajabeto

Glasses in italian is occhiali and Somali okayaalo

Ice cream in italian is gelato and in somali its jalaato

Fork in italian is forchetta and in Somali fargetto

Yellow in italian is giallo and in somali jaalo

Bag in italian Borsa and in somali boorso

Oven in italian forno and in somali foorno

Sauce in italian sugo and in Somali suugo

My family always used ciao as well to mean goodbye but now that I look it up in Google translate, apparently it means hello? Guess we've been using it wrong all this time

Are you sure oven comes from italian? Because the arabic word (فرن) is the same.

Oh yeah I knew there was a different word for red too, I just couldn’t put my tongue on it.

We call it casaan. Like, ilkacase (red teeth). I’ve heard of guduud before but it’s rarely used in my household or back home (in laascaanood)
