Opinion ..
Every mother should follow my advice:
once your child reaches 10 move out of the towers/project and move to a place with the fewest Somalis and madoows possible.
look for a good school, Cadaan school
get him involved in sports like Golf, tennis, chess, wrestling, baseball, Track, soccer and swimming. ( avoid Basketball And America n football)
Keep an eye on your child but don’t be too intrusive.
become friends with your child but don’t allow it to be like buddies. There should be parent/ child boundaries.
Make sure he has a male father figure. If divorced make sure your brothers are involved with him. Let them take him to Salats to the mosque
Make a trip to the motherland and let him spent time with cousins.
Don’t baby him as soon as he enters teenhood. Drill in his head that he is grown and should behave like one. Give him responsibilities. Take him to the science fairs and places to spark his interest. Take him to the prison and ask him questions. Take him to the morgue and ask him questions. Take him to the hospital and allow him to reflect. Teach him about crime and it’s consequences
Have him married at 22 but support him in his education.
Sit back and place your trust in god.
otherwise if you don’t do the aforementioned steps you will certainly be in mourning for the rest of your life. A child is not a tree you just water. It needs for you to be proactive and think ahead. Pave the way for him. Give him the tools and keep away qashin places and qashin kids.
