I've always enjoyed kacaan music and I've always regarded Siaad Barre as the greatest Somali leader. I always thought my views where odd as I am a Isaaq but it all makes sense now. I knew that my ayayday hooyo was Dhulbahante/ Baharsame but I didn't know her reer abti were mareexaan/ reer Diini

Well, my mom is Isaaq all the way; on both sides of the family. And yet she's a big fan of Siyaad Barre and his wife..she told me how she used to be called maamo-Khadiijo, that she was an older woman, "madow aswad ah", quite tall, that he was shorter than her when he stood next to her etc.

I think she's even part of a mareexan club in FB, WTF.
Just a few days ago she made me listen to a Siyaad Barre speech talking about how beeraley, shacabka iyo ciidanka should cooperate. And other nonsense which I forgot now. It was like 2-3 mins long but she replayed it for me like 3 times. She also mentioned at the end, how "burco iyo hargeysa" can't become a wadan.
My blood was boiling so much, but I let go since she's hooyo. Ilaahow amuuraha sahal, waad aragtaaye.
