No, again this is wrong.the netherlands never use to be multi cultural.
in the 80's and 90's it was just white and isaaq. in the early 2000's all the isaaq moved to the uk. and xamaries moved there i'd say they been there 20 years.
thats why most uk somalies are dutch they all left. i heard you have mainly hawiye and darood there
It wasn’t dominated by Isaaqs whatsoever, they were one of the biggest communities alongside us from Xamar. Isaaqs left for the UK for 2 different reasons:
- It was an English speaking countries,
- They didn’t had to integrate or work in society.
The Netherlands doesn’t hand out anything easily, that’s why they left. They came to the UK simply for those 2 reasons.
& again the biggest communities here tend to be Hawiye, Daroods & Cadcads. But you can find sizeable communities made up off Bantu’s, Tumaal, Barawani & Bajunis. We even have a sizeable Christian community here living in the bigger cities. So yes, compared to other diasporas we are multi cultured.
