They will obviously not, as America was forced to lift sanctions on Syria. They are moving toward a policy of neutrality, engaging with the USA, Russia, and China without favoring one over the others. If America hadn't lifted the sanctions, they likely would have pivoted toward Russia and China. Additionally, Syria is now receiving advice from Turkey, similar to Somalia. Turkey is essentially becoming a neo-Ottoman power and America is okay with it they'd rather them become controlled by turkey then Russia or china, and soon Syria may invade the Golan Heights if Israel doesn't return it you will see them in the un soon complaining. Israel is a country that is unable to live in peace, peace for Israel means failure , which is why America is preparing to get rid of Israel but they want them to go where they want.
