There is a lot of evidence to suggest that most terrorists have little to no idea of Islam and were irreligious prior to being radicalised.
The Paris attackers, the Orlando shooter, the Boston bombers and the list goes on.
The Charlie Hebdo attacker couldn’t tell between Islam and Catholicism.
