Let's not beat around the bush. But Islamic life philosophy is to worship allah and die and be rewarded with never-ending 'pleasure'. Counter-Argument - What is pleasure with no 'pain'? how can their be pleasure if their was no opposite pain?. Like what is being rich if their no poor?

What is life if their no 'death'? Being alive forever and just in constant enjoyment would be 'hellish' experience since u can't check out and leave and your stuck in it.

Western Life Philosophy - Between the ages of At 20-30, study and develop job experience. 30-65 work in a career 9 to 5, mon-fri, to achieve what? to feed your belly and spend 30 years payin off a mortgage to put a roof over your head. When your 65 u got 15 years before your 80 and your too old to enjoy life and die.

@Johnathan Smith I fear a never-ending life, that would be hellish niyahow, just being awake 24/7/365 for eternity, THATS HELL BRO. I love the balance in this earth, where u can sleep, be awake, work, struggle, relax, know u will die so u apprecite life, u get to enjoy and suffer balance, its an actual beautiful balance that gives MEANING TO LIFE.

I never saw the point in this argument since none of us went to heaven before and as such, don't have any reference to how it would be like

U don't get it bro. I think @Johnathan Smith knows the deep question. Bro how can their be fun if their no 'boredom' to balance against? u always need the opposite in everything to give meaning to anything.
i went to jannah in my dream once and the feeling was out of this world (best feeling ever) so no u will never get bored

I meditate with this. I close my eyes, lie down, and disappear into consciousness and pray to god to help me 'erase' my sub conscious and show me different perspective on what topic im delving into. If anything in my conscious pops up which was 'taught' i dismiss it and keep travelling, it's very hard truly and u realize how deep the mental conditioning is.

I also look at, kids, illerate ppl, mentally ill ppl to tap into as inspiration. I also only listen to 1% extreme ends of the herd. Whether its 1% poor or 1% rich NEVER THE MIDDLE HERD. Why? that 1% have to think outside the normal constraints(mental conditioning) to survive if their poor or to keep their wealth if their rich. Where-as with academics the 1% menses high iq types I don't listen to, they don't innovate or invent, their just super quick learners only not 'value adders'.

The value adders will deep learn not speed learn, they will also play around with the HOW/WHY alot of their topic and then apply it thru experience at work and finally rich 'wisdom' stage to tweak it or advance it by tapping into their imagination again or seeking inspirations that open up their imagination whether its mentally ill, tribal ppl, illerate, kids, paintings, anything to make them look differently at what their domain is.

your right. The world is made up of opposites and our human state constantly fluctuates between two extremes. If you were in constant happiness you wouldn’t appreciate the emotion you need a portion of sadness through which the opposites can be distinguished. Otherwise you wouldn’t know ‘happiness’ without ‘sadness’. If you were always satiated you wouldn’t appreciate the blessing of water. That’s why the moment water is the most pleasing is when you are thirsty on a hot summers day and you quench the thirst - because you’ve tasted the ‘struggle’ you experience the opposite end of the spectrum. And that’s why people ‘think’ they dislike a certain food but rather it’s just they have better options. Anyone can perform this experiment - fast for 5 days and by the 3rd day even the most bland food will be appeasing to you. However in paradise, the opposites ‘merge’ and human beings will reach an ‘equilibrium’ of peace and and tranquility.

But to be honest i couldn’t explain to you how that experience feels like so it would make sense why you would feel wary about it. We tend to look at things from a perspective of this life - but this life is limited with limited knowledge. Sounds weird but it would be like explaining intercourse to a 12 year old. He would look at it from his pre pubescent scope and be disgusted, but when he experience his sexual enlightenment he will never look back lol😂 simply put, it’s like explaining the colour purple to someone who’s never seen. Or even when we say God is All Powerful. We understand what power is, but due the limitations of the human mind, we will never fully grasp the magnitude of that. Our brain only allows us to ‘imagine’ the concept or rather reflect on it, but never fully grasp it. It’s like grasping infinity. There have been many mathematicians who’ve become insane due to trying to conceptualise infinity, something the human mind is incapable of doing. What’s interesting to note is, according to Islam, every time a man glances on his wife in paradise, her beauty increases. Perhaps that could be so he is never ‘bored’ or so he’s always appreciating.

Honestly I’ve always thought about that though. What drives human beings in this life is competition. So imagine consciousness without competition. Are we always stationary? Do we have something to aim for? I think the idea is the current human desires or mode of being that allows us to function in this world will removed from us. Instead it will be replace with another ‘mode of being’ which allows us to live for eternity. Just like how all envy, hatred and negative human emotions is removed. Your right though this is something I haven’t understood yet.

@DR OSMAN you seem to be interested in innovation and invention. Why is that?
don’t you think human beings have experience enough rapid innovation in a short amount of time?
I think we rather need to go back to basics and simply. What’s the point of trying to move forward when we haven’t even perfected the basics? I’m wary of any modern day innovation, whether it be plastics, chemicals, mobile phones, the internet, modern schooling system, gmo foods. It hasn’t benefited the average man. Disease, depression, suicide, mental illness has increased. Human beings are losing ‘critical thinking’. We need to go back to answering the simple basic question and move forward from their, we’ve had enough innovation.

Many of things you praise puntland for is because of Islam. The tight knit community, the following leadership guidance of ullumah and elders, and rule of law. most poor countires full of degenerates using drugs and families selling women and kids to pervert westerns because of worship of money which is what west is. This doesn’t happen in Somalia because of Islam. If somali was not Muslim it would be 10x worse.

Our issue is not religion it’s barren hot land. Most countires cutting and getting rid of grass is billions dollar industry somalia its celebrated like a miracle when land is green. Barely any forest and arable land so we have nomads fighting over scraps to eake out sad existence. Look at satellite images or visit back home place is desolate hell hole don’t care what anyone says

some of these states have over 90% forest coverage Somalis using manual labors to make charcoal wouldn’t even make dent if they cut day and night. The whole middle section that’s empty is heartland rich soil and bread basket.

This is why we don’t have world renown scientists, philosophers, artists , architect because most of the country is in bottom of pyramid. All their energy is on finding food water and safety. When that is a given energy can be spent top of pyramid and higher level thinking, the philosophy and sciences like the way we are now that we are in the west. Nomad lifestyle keeps you at bottom two stages and primitive state which is driven by most of land not supporting agrarian lifestyle

I know what u mean but this what humans grade other humans on. I don't personally believe in it but it's the rules of this world. For example all the civilizations combined don't match the longevity of aborigines or bush-men(60,000 thousands years and more), if they were so smart and ahead, why did they go extinct? I know what u mean, I don't believe that is the measure to judge humans, I think who survives the longest is the greatest measure in post civilization(jews). But at the same time I can't blind myself to the reality we live in, which admires civilization even if it sends them extinct.

@Johnathan Smith I don't think it's wise we just sit, eat, shit, and die like animals tho and spend our life expetectancy no different to animals and promote 'allah' respects that, I disagree with that world view. I support innovation, knowledge based society as long as it's sustainable whether environmentally or socially(doesnt send us extinct)

@Hilmaam Puntland is heading towards a new direction then the 'ambo iyo papay' culture of the south. We want our human capital to be the most important commodity not our 'land'. We will identify arable soil, zone it for protection, sub-divide it into bloc and install drainage infrastructure to ensure monsoon rains do not destroy investor farming plots. We will then invite investors with guidance from government to begin addressing our food security goals and what type of produce we need.

We will ensure all our districts in particular A districts and B districts have dams installed to ensure water is captured and retained for livestock. Once food security is reached, we will continue to complete our next phase, which we are currently in, the social and hard infrastructure.

All poor countries lack or have low grade social(health, school) and hard infrastructure(roads, airport, energy, sewage, drainage) which makes their market potential significantly reduce.

Once the infrastructure age is done we will enter the market development age, focusing on creating strong banking engine to fuel our locals with finance to create start ups. We will focus on industrial parks like amal estate in garowe or green city in bosaso where the land and infrastructure is put in place especially 'big energy backbone' line and sell them as plots to the investors we want to create finished goods. Our economist will ensure we scan and find the 'gaps' in local-regional-global markets supply chains and create them in Puntland.

We even will ensure our Puntland Central Bank begins infrastructure bonds following in the Garacad port shareholder structure between govt and investors to build the hard infrastructure and screw the IMF-WORLD BANK.

Puntland is the future

@Hilmaam We can't enter the market development age untill the infrastructure age is done, especially water-energy-food security-roads-ports-airport. These are absolute paramount or the market is 'crippled' and unbuildable.

The Market we want in Puntland is 'diverse' not 'concentrated', we also want an urban economy which will be done thru banking where ppl can get loans and execute their urban ideas usually around 'service, retail, hospitality'.

We want a manufacturing sector also but a carefully identified one not just creating worthless products and wasting time-cost-labor into it, hence our economists will be important to identify products-goods with low supplier pool and big market demand.

We also want to tap into oil and create Puntland fund for it and invest it in the stock-market of America so it continues to grow, we won't just sit there and be 'gulf sheikhs' consuming and shitting it out, we will be re-directing the profits into stock market 'investments' to grow.

So PL will have the following market

1. Hospitality-Service-Retail all growing thru locals filling those voids thru bank loans
2. Oil exports
3. Fishery, Frankincense, Dates, Livestock exports
4. Possibly Tourism
5. Manufacturing 'carefully' identified by economist on it's returns. Both as supply chains for local markets or global or a mix
6. Taking Africa natural resources cheap and create Processing Plants to focus on finished products so we take the largest chunk 'value'.

Our govt policies in schools will determine what other industries could be tapped into like 'technology' or 'automobiles' etc.

Our govt will do 'yearly rounds' on new infrastructure bonds to build hard infrastructure

i would like to see that happen but economies now a days so specialized and complex we have to pay our dues be cheap labor dumping ground like Asian countries. Only ways that happen is good infrastructure and safety. We do have the young labor force piece though
