Is this true ? Somali Ethiopia talks suspended

Sources say Abiy is back in talks with SNM about the failed MOU after his intimidation tactics toward Eritrea backfired.
I knew it would collapse eventually. abiy was never just after access but I didn’t expect it to fall apart this quickly.

Abiy remains me of Siad Barre. just more delusional and even more short sighted.

Personally, I welcome it. It puts pressure on the aid mafia in Xamar.

Abiy is crazy he’s single-handedly setting the region on fire

I think last week Abiye invited HSM to completion celebration of GERD dam. I heard he passed on it and went to Egypt . Could be why Ethiopia throwing fit

Yeah he allowed for Ethiopian mercenaries to enter Sudan and fight on behalf of the RSF+seizing some Sudanese towns in disputed zone in the east, he also oscillates between aggression and peace with Eritrea. Compared to them he’s done nothing major with Somalia.

This guy at least has a vision

Yeah a Vision in destroying his country

I called it
“Ethiopia insisted on securing a sovereign access via an extraterritorial corridor and a naval base in Hobyo. Somalia outright rejected any ownership-tied proposal.”
“The technical negotiations between Somalia and Ethiopia have broken down and were suspended indefinitely last month. Turkey was well aware of the situation.
Now, Ethiopia is trying to revive their failed MoU, while Somalia is reviving its deterrent tripartite alliance. But, this time with Egypt fully arriving and establishing a presence in Somalia.”

A naval base is already a crazy ask, but extraterritorial corridor? Abiy might actually be clinically insane.
Looks like the horn’s great game is back:
-HSM will likely focus on securing Xamar first to avoid another 06’(yeah yea I know, it technically was a USA invasion).
- Very Bad news for northern Hartis. The cuqdaad ridden, Ictiraaf-obsessed, Addis-backed hargsya will be coming back with vengeance.
-Good news for FGS. A lot to gain, lil to lose( AS gaining popularity).
-Great news for Al Shabaab’s popularity.
- Bad news for reer gedo.
Addis side: Abiy has a lot to gain, but just as much to lose. Majority of the country is literally burning rn.
The dream of permanent sea access and expanding Ethiopia’s borders will unite( at least temporarily) many Ethiopians behind Abiy. But that only holds if it’s a quick land grab. If the Addis gets bogged down, I expect the opposite effect.

Ictiraafland: They have a lot to gain and little to lose.
