Another example of the effects from the civil war and coming from a bedouin upbringing which sadly have passed down to newer generations. The loss of somali confidence. Parents failing to teach their children about our great history, failing or not caring enough to teach them adequate level of self respect and dignity, not reaching their children the deen correctly. All of this is what lead to younger Somalis having no self awareness. Teachings starts from home and they have been failed.
